This website is pretty basic. It is mostly static content. We have setup e-mail auto responders when somebody fills out the Contact Us and Demo forms.

The screen shot page uses a big of PHP Programming. We uploaded the images and thumbnails to a folder. Then a small PHP Script outputs a page showing all of the photos in the folder.

The live chat for the website, and that is used inside the Event Wizard pro, is called Mibew Messenger which is an open source free project. Mibew Messenger helps us quickly keep in contact with our clients.

The goal of the web design for Amberg Events was to show off their variety of equipment. We made the pictures of their equipment large and prominent. Visitors to the site have the option to add equipment to a wish list that can be e-mailed to Amberg Events to help with the event planning process. We wrote the wish list in Javascript. It’s very light weight and simple, and gets the job done very well.

The jQuery image fader was custom written by Brema Web Solutions in Javascript using the jQuery framework.

Several items in their rental inventory have videos to show them in action. We were responsible for editing the raw video clips together, uploading them, converting them and embedding them in the website.

Not only did we do the web design for Amberg Events’ website, we have also setup a survey system for them so they can receive feedback from recent events. The results from the surveys are stored in a database and e-mailed to them. This another service to keep in mind that we offer in addition to custom web design.

We designed a widget enabled, custom wordpress theme for Firewind Ministries. We went with WordPress for the same reason we use WordPress on a lot of websites. WordPress is quick to setup, quick to design and develop themes, and quick to fill with content. The most important part is it makes updating the site easy for the end user. With a busy ministry like Firewind Ministries it needed to be something that could be kept up to date quickly and easily.

We used plugins to achieve the functionality Firewind Ministries needed. The main plugins we used were a calendar plugin and a contact form plugin. Other than that we focused on making an aesthetically pleasing website that will efficiently convey their message.

Connect. Pray. Affect! (CPA) is a custom website built by Brema Web Solutions. We took care of all of the web design, graphic design, and custom php coding.  The idea behind this website is to receive prayer requests from a website, and e-mail those prayer requests to subscribers and post them to other CPA prayer lists.

The Connect. Pray. Affect! website does have some interesting and important features. When a prayer request is submitted the first thing we try to do is gather a location because user e-mails and prayer list postings somewhat rely on geographical proximity. If you visit the prayer request page from a mobile browser or any other location aware browse you will be asked if CPA can use your current location. If you answer yes to that question CPA gathers your latitude and longitude. We give the users and option to enter their location in the form of their City and State. If they enter their city and state we geocode that using Google Maps API to get a general latitude and longitude. If they choose not to enter their City and State, we will try to get a City and State from their IP address.

A user is not required to sign up to submit a prayer request, but they can enter their e-mail address in the request form and they will receive an e-mail that will allow them to update their prayer request.

When a user signs up for CPA they have the option to embed a prayer request list on their own website. They have a few options as to what prayer requests will go on their list, global (all prayer request), local (only prayer requests within 25 miles), exclusive (only prayer requests submitted from their site).

When users sign up, they have the option to receive e-mails every hour, every day, or every week. This is accomplished with a simple cron script.

At Brema Web Solutions, we love building custom wordpress themes. WordPress is such a flexible, feature rich content management system. Ted Amberg is a comedy magician based out of Springfield, MO and he came to us to build a website to promote is magic shows. We went with a custom WordPress theme to make quick work of the web development process. We wanted to make sure updates were easy to make and that Ted would be able to blog at his will to help promote his act.

Brema Web Solutions did all of the web design and graphic design for this website. We took Ted’s vision and idea for the website and made it a reality. We did an initial design and took Ted’s suggestions and made the changes to make this custom wordpress theme into the website he wanted.

If you notice the promo photos strewn throughout the site, Brema Web Solutions did the photo shoot for those as well. We did some basic editing to the photos such as changing or erasing the background, and changing the color of Ted’s shirt in a few of the shots.

We didn’t use a lot of fancy or cool technology on this site. It is a basic PHP custom wordpress theme using HTML and CSS for the layout. It uses a MySQL database for the data storage backend (like all WordPress installations). We didn’t create the overlay videos, but we did add them to the site once we received the flash videos from the production company.

Brema Web Solutions built the Inflatable Trading Post from the ground up. This custom website was built using PHP, HTML, CSS, and a little Javascript. Inflatable Trading Post allows users to list inflatables and other amusement equipment for sale.

Users sign up and are taken to their My Account area where they can list items for sale. When listing items users are allowed to upload a number of photos for each listing. When a photo is uploaded a thumbnail is created to speed up load times on the listing pages, the full size photo is water marked with the Inflatable Trading Post website.

Part of this website development included a custom communication system that allows users to send messages to each other to arrange sales or trades of equipment. All of these conversations are organized in the Trade Center within the My Account section. When a new message arrives they are notified by e-mail.

Users have the option to use the embed code feature to generate HTML or bbCode that they can use to display their listed items on forums, blogs, craiglist, or other various websites. Each user also gets a link that links to a listing of only their items on the Inflatable Trading Post website.

The system has a feature to e-mail users to remind them they have unread messages or to notify them when items have been sitting stale on the site for a while.

Inflatable Trading Post was developed using HTML, PHP, CSS, and Javascript. It uses a custom build MVC framework. It uses a MySQL database for backend data storage. This site was built with SEO in mind. It uses Apache’s mod rewrite to achieve friendly, keyword rich URLs and we took care to craft page titles and page headings to maximize keyword effectiveness.

Brema Web Solutions has developed a tool to help you beat your friend at Hanging With Friends. With this tool you select how many letters the word is, and you enter the letters you know are in the word in the yellow squares at the top, and check mark the letters you have already used in rows of letters listed at the bottom. Once you start entering letters into the word you will see possible words listed on the right as well as the best choice for your next letter. As you discover more and more letters in the word the list of possible words narrows.

We didn’t go all out with the design because all we needed was this simple layout to accept user input and display the possible words. This is one of those projects we did just to see if we could do it, and we have come up with a pretty accurate tool for cheating at Hanging With Friends.
